I am originally from Colombia. I hold a Master of Divinity degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and I was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Hartford in 2012. For three years, I served as a Parochial Vicar at Saint Joseph Parish in Bristol, and then for one year at Saint George Parish in Guilford.
In 2017, I was assigned as Pastor of Saint Lawrence O’Toole Church, which later merged with the communities of Saint Peter and Sacred Heart following their closure, thus forming Mary Queen of Peace Parish at Saint Lawrence O’Toole Church. Eight years later, by decree dated August 15, 2025, The Most Reverend Christopher J. Coyne, Archbishop of Hartford, appointed me as the first Rector of the newly established Archdiocesan Shrine of Mary Queen of Peace.
